Who We Are
I’m a person in long-term recovery, sober since July 1988. I consider myself fortunate for getting into recovery so early in life. I was 25 when I had my last drink.
My journey took an interesting turn in 2014, when I realized and accepted that I’m an atheist. This realization motivated me to search for others like myself, and I found many of them online. These friends encouraged me to get into podcasting, and that has been my passion since 2015.
I started the “My Secular Sobriety” podcast in January 2020 to provide me with an opportunity to explore a wider array of topics of interest to secular people in recovery.
